ITINERARY

Day 1 : Arrival Kannur – Kannur  (27th October 2024)

Arrive Cochin Airport or Kannur  Railway Station, Formerly called Cannanore, Kannur has its headquarters in the city with a similar name. Kannur shares its borders along Kasaragod, Kozhikode, Karnataka, and the Arabian Sea. The most popular tourist spots in the Kerala tour include St. Angelo Fort, Arakkal Museum, Meenkunnu Beach, etc.

Day 2 : Kannur -Kozhikode (28th  October 2024)
The district is also known as Calicut, and its capital lies in the city of Kozhikode. Calicut is also known as a significant tourist destination as well as a busy port. The district is connected with Malappuram, Kannur, and Wayanad. The most popular places to visit in Kozhikode on your way to Kerala comprise Kozhikode Beach, Sweet Meat Street, Beypore Sea Bridge, Thusharagiri Falls, Kappad Beach (it was located on the shores of Kappad beach where the Portuguese traveler, Vasco da Gama, had landed) and many more. In addition to having a variety of Kerala tourist places, the region is also well-known for its food. The famous Kozhikode halwa is only one of the delicious dishes that the region can provide. Day 3 :Kozhikode -Palakkad (29th  October 2024)
After arriving in Palakkad, check into your hotel and freshen up. Start your day by exploring the beautiful Malampuzha Dam and Gardens. Take a leisurely walk around the gardens and enjoy the scenic views. Visit the Palakkad Fort, a historic landmark that offers a glimpse into the region's rich history. Day 4 : Palakkad Local Sightseeing (30th   October 2024)
Start your day by visiting the Silent Valley National Park, known for its rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes. Take a guided nature walk and spot various species of flora and fauna. Afterward, visit the Dhoni Waterfalls, a picturesque waterfall nestled amidst lush greenery. Take a refreshing dip in the natural pool and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. In the evening, visit the Palakkad Gap, a natural mountain pass that offers breathtaking views of the Western Ghats. Enjoy the sunset and capture some memorable photographs.

Day 5 : Palakkad – Thrissur(31st   October 2024)
Begin your day by visiting the Thrissur Zoo and Museum, home to a variety of animals and a fascinating collection of artifacts. Explore the Vadakkunnathan Temple, an architectural marvel dedicated to Lord Shiva. Although it is a religious place, it is worth visiting for its stunning architecture and cultural significance. Head to the Kerala Kalamandalam, a renowned institution for performing arts. Attend a traditional dance or music performance and immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Kerala. In the evening, take a stroll through the bustling streets of Thrissur and try out some local delicacies like the famous Thrissur-style biryani.

Day 6 : Thrissur- Kochin(01st  October 2024)
Start your day by visiting the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. Explore the museum inside the palace, which showcases a vast collection of artifacts and artworks. Take a walk through the historic Jew Town and visit the Paradesi Synagogue, one of the oldest active synagogues in the Commonwealth. Explore the Fort Kochi area and admire the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the promenade and soak in the colonial charm of the area. In the evening, attend a Kathakali performance, a traditional dance form of Kerala. Witness the elaborate costumes and expressive storytelling through dance and music.

Day 7 : Kochin -Munnar(02nd November  2024)
Check out from hotel and leave for Munnar. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Munnar is located at the confluence of 03 rivers as the very name signifies. The sprawling tea plantations and picturesque towns make Munnar a popular hill resort town in South India. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the Hotel. Sightseeing:- Enroute visit Kodanadu elephant care centre, Cheyyara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Attukadu waterfalls, Spice plantations etc. Distance between Cochin to Munnar is 135 Kms (3.5 hours) by road

Day 8 : Munnar Local Sightseeing(03rd  November  2024)
In the morning start the sightseeing of Munnar visiting the tea plantations, Tea Museum, the Eravikulam National park home of the endangered Niligiri Thar (Ibex), followed by visit to the Mattupetty dam, the the Kundala Lake and other scenic spots. Overnight stay at the Hotel. Day 9 : Munnar – Thekkady(04th  November  2024)
Morning transfer to Thekkady (Periyar) (4 hrs drive). Thekkady has one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves noted for its geography, diverse wildlife and scenic beauty. Arive at Thekkady and check-in at Hotel: Later afternoon boat ride on the Lake Periyar where one can have a unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar, however are the herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake (Wild life viewing is always dependent on one's good fortune). Overnight stay at the Hotel. Sightseeing:- visit periyar wild life sanctuary where you can see wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more, mullaperiyar dam and spice plantations tour where one can shop exotic spices Distance between Munnar to Thekkady is 125 Kms / 3 Hours by road

Day 10 : Thekkady -Kottayyam(05th   November  2024)
After Breakfast Check-out from Hotel and drive to kotayyam Thirunakkara Mahadeva Temple, Thirunakkara Sri Krishna Temple , Cheriyapally Church , Bagawathy Temple – Kumaranalloor and near by waterfall overnight stay in Kottayam

Day 11: Kottayyam – Alleppey(06th  November  2024)
Morning leave for Alleppey to enjoy a boat cruise tour in Alleppey Houseboat. Rest of the day at leisure on the House Boat which is world's major tourist attraction. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals of Alleppey. We can see here in breathing green, the village slumbers by the Vembanad Lake. On cruise scenery flashes up vivid contrasts of lush green and deep blues. As the boat glider along the gorgeous green of the fringed palms the ripples in the blue water blend in to little wavelets. Lunch, Evening Tea/ Coffee with snacks, dinner all are provided inside the houseboat. Overnight stay will provide on House Boat

Day 12: Alleppey - Kovalam(07th  November  2024)
Morning get up early to enjoy sunrise of backwater , also you will get a chance to see fishermen catching fish of boat men selling household items in their small canoe , After breakfast the boat will move again for a morning cruise, you will check out from the houseboat at 0900 hrs and proceed to Kovalam beach. The journey is through costal areas of Kerala, you can see , view of lagoons rivers, evergreen coconut palms make this journey very enjoyable , Reach Kovalam and check in at your hotel It is one of the beast beaches of India with its lovely slice beach sand and perfectly positioned palms. Day 13 : Kovalam Beach Sightseeing (08th November  2024)

If cancelled 14 days or less before departure: 100% of the package price would be retained as cancellation fee
